EETT participates in the European Regulators Group for Postal Services (ERGP) Plenary

EETT participated in the European Regulators Group for Postal Services (ERGP) Plenary held in
Bucharest, in order to promote issues of the European postal market.

During the meeting, ERGP adopted six reports on best practices and current trends for
consumer protection, the quality of Universal Service and the handling of complaints, the tariff
regulation, the cross-border e-commerce and the monitoring of the postal market indicators for the
year 2012.

The Plenary also approved the ERGP work program for 2015 which will be subject to public
consultation from 27 November 2014 to 12 January 2015. The main focus of the work program will be
the examination of the implementation process of the universal postal service provision
obligations.

For this important issue, ERGP organized a day before the session, a special workshop with
more than 150 representatives of the market, such as postal providers, electronics store employees,
consumer associations and trade unions in order to identify and address timely issues arising from
developments in the postal market that affect Universal Service throughout Europe.
